What’s Going On Here?
Relationships can be tough and tricky to navigate. But just when you thought you’d got it nailed, did you ever stop to think about the third party (or fourth, or fifth – whatever you’re into) in your relationship? The planet?
Yep. From the contraception you use (or don’t), to the lingerie you choose to don or even your techniques for setting the mood – ALL of this has its effect on the planet.
What Does This Mean?
Well, it could mean that for some of us, our sustainable decisions haven’t been following through to the bedroom…YET. For instance:
- Did you know that no one actually knows how long it takes for a condom to biodegrade?
- Do you know who made your lingerie, where and how?
- Do you know your *sexy time*’s carbon footprint due to your moody lighting options?
This could call for a LOT of research, which could certainly be a mood kill. But, I have put this handy table together, making it easier for you to identify simple switches, because there should only be one thing hard in the bedroom…

Why Should We Care?
Why shouldn’t our ethical, eco, sustainable decisions that we feel to passionately about, be made in the bedroom too? Did you know that solar-powered sex toys actually exist! Surely sex can feel even better when we know we have our planet’s best interests in mind, as well as our own 😉
