Curious.earth is on a mission to empower individuals to act on climate change through awareness, education, and actionable solutions.
Our goal is to raise awareness and educate people about a wide variety of environmental issues by cutting out jargon and simplifying the language used.
Our aim is to empower people from all walks of life with the knowledge they need to make sustainable decisions and take action on climate change in a way that works for them, big or small.

Volunteer with us!
We are always on the lookout for new curious earth-ers to join our team – why not get involved?
Curious.earth is entirely volunteer-led and managed. Our team is a bunch of folk from all walks of life, from various places around the world but we have one thing in common – a passion for the planet! All we ask for is enthusiasm and commitment to our mission to help inspire people to take action for the environment.

Writer / Editor
We publish weekly news articles and feature pieces on our website, which are also sent out in our e-mail newsletter. The writers are able to choose their own subjects – anything from extreme weather, to green finance, to fashion! If it’s connected to the planet, we’re in! All our writers also act as editors, peer-editing each other’s articles. On average, each volunteer is responsible for writing and editing a piece every 6 weeks.
Social media
Our articles are shared across our social platforms (currently Instagram and LinkedIn) along with other news updates and eco-friendly tips and actions. The social media volunteers are responsible for creating graphics and videos, captions, and posts. And if you’ve got some experience of boosting engagement, even better!
Website / Email Marketing
Every week our volunteers are responsible for creating our e-newsletter using our easy template software. The newsletter includes our weekly articles plus other curious news we have seen, and of course a hand-crafted introduction to lure in readers. We also have a web team who look after this beautiful site! If you know your way around WordPress or Mailchimp, then this one’s for you!
